• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Don't Be Fooled! Looking at you DOES NOT mean they SEE you!

Maybe members didn't read the driving vision article I linked to. Clearly explains why we don't "see" what should be obvious. It's like the difference between hearing and listening.

But your honor, he was in my saccade and therefore I couldn't see him. Sorry, guilty as charged! Bailiff, take the defendant into custody.

I ride with the mentality that everyone is out to run me over. This is why I always wear full gear, from my helmet to proper riding boots and a jacket with armor as well as proper gloves - even in the heat of summer. I also choose gear colors that are "loud", such as high-vis yellow on my jackets/ helmet and gloves when I can. I choose bright colors for my motorcycles to help with being noticed. (It doesn't hurt that I also like the color)

I will never own all black gear or an all black motorcycle. I will also add lighting to my bikes and brake flashers to help me be seen.

Just my two cents worth.

To me, riding in a crowded metropolis like LA is just asking for trouble.

Thank goodness the area I ride in isn't like that at all .... yet.

Ride like you're invisible, and everyone is trying to kill you. Been living it for years.
