I've got an 08 RS. I'm going to check my throttle box in the morning and see what I can find. Funny I've never noticed a knob there but could be I'll learn something. I'm always looking for some romance so I'm hoping Sandrunr1 is right! hyea:

Romance switch huh....cute..:banghead: I haven't noticed the one on mine either until I had to take the throttle off of the handlebars to put on my riser... I rolled it a couple of times back and forth but was afraid of the effect it might have in doing so so I quit messing with it. I figured the SL guru"s would know what it is BUT.................

I have no idea what it could be. Here is a picture of both the front and back of my throttle. The button on the back turns on the head light when the key is off. the front is the start button, and kill switch. Is this round button attached to the throttle itself, or to the cables like a strap?

*It's the ding-damper! You know; the one that hangs over the kahooter, and shuts off the pernogerator, thus, creating the opposition of a chizzywig, which is the main object in the first place, isn't it?

I have completed a thorough inspection of my 'Throttle Box' and I could find nothing romantic or otherwise (including knobs to be turned, wheels to be rolled, etc.) However, I did feel a distinct tugging on my leg...
