• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I have been Farkled!

look at my new signature line. My spyder looks and sounds great! 'Nuff said.

Thanks again to Joe and Ann at Squared Away. Awesome folks to work with. I am lucky to live in the same city as they do (albeit clear across town)!

Yes you have....!!

congrats on all the cool stuff you have added to your ryde. :2thumbs: you do have the advantage of having Ann and Joe at your doorstep to make it all good.

No verification?.............we believe you, but we need pictures for verification!

Farkleosis? Yup!

I'm trying to avoid both outcomes. Bad for my health. Perhaps a slow burn after this initial tranche, but, uh, mmm, er, um, I do have a FOBO TPMS to put on, and some wrapmyspyder items to attach, but I'll need to get the garage warmer for the vinyl to stick properly.

OK, OK, I admit it, I have a full blown case of this disease. It is a fun disease though!

The next farkle... some stripes

Stripes from wrapmyspyder.com. They of course, match the helmet :)

Happy New Year to you all!!

Todd

I really like the color combination of your Spyder and reflective stripes. Have you thought about installing the Rally Frunk Insert too from Wrap My Spyder?

Todd, Kudo's on your choices and the color combo between the bike and stripes! Beautiful, well done.

Ditto. And I wonder whether you did your own striping or did you found someone else to do it for you? I received some wrap from WrapMySpyder but it seems a little cold yet in my garage. I've heard there are people in town who specialize in installing stuff like this and if so, I wonder whether I should risk doing it myself.

Self installed stripes

My daughter is home from college for the winter break. She and i did the whole shootin match in about 90 minutes. We just followed the install video on the website. We made sure to tape stuff in place with blue painters tape first to make sure we liked the placement, then did the peel and stick. It was actually pretty simple. Every time we finished a piece, we said “wow, this looks awesome”. When it was done, we really couldn’t believe we did it ourselves.

she, of course, has the design eye, so i let her do some of the placements. We also used a ruler to make sure everything was aligned, because we are both anal that way, being software developer geeks.

it was mid 60s today in Vegas, so we figured we were ok with the temperature.

hope helps. It may not be easy for everyone, but we had fun doing it.

oh, frunk insert... definitely a possibility. I dont want to overpower with too much color though. I like the lines. It makes a sleek look. Need to think about which color to consider.

thanks for the compliments all!

Agree, the color of the frunk insert shouldn't be bold, but rather subtle. I'd probably go with black (non-gloss).

I have often thought about about adding the break stripes and frunk insert to my Spyder, but am undecided about a color scheme. It would be nice if the website had the capability to let you play with different color options so we could "see" the end product.

Sweet, I'm hoping to catch up as soon as the funds are available.
Just need to make it mine and set it apart from the rest.
