Ah yes, I think this is so.
Sorry, this is a bit of a long one, but this is what I do:
What I have is two cables I can swap between. I have 90 degree USB A to USB C adapter in the glove box. I can plug either USB C cable into this.
From there I run two USB cables to the phone mount. I have two colors. One is black for when I want to use CarPlay. That is a USB C to USB C
DATA cable. I also run a red cable, USB C to USB C
POWER/CHARGING ONLY cable. I use the red on when I just want to charge my phone. It stops the 10.25" display and the iPhone getting confused, or it seems to.
I have the Sena SRL2 integrated intercomm system in Shoei Generation 2 helmets. I get about 8-10 hours on a single charge, but mine are coming up to 5 years old. I leave them plugged into a wall charger continuously, for five years, whilst we are not wearing them, but it doesn't seem to have done them any harm. Next year I'm going to the Sena SRL3 system with new Shoei Generation 3 helmets. I've no idea how much more or less time I'm going to get on the SRL3 system?
I carry a wash kit bag when I travel. This carries all the chargers and cables for phones, tablets, helmets, cameras etc, when we travel. They are all duplicates to what I have in the house so I can just grab the bag and go and don't have to round up cables and chargers before a trip, I just chuck the wash kit bag in the trunk and go.
The chargers are labelled hers, mine and a third is for helmets, power bank and cameras. All the cables are labelled too. I always have the correct cables this way. I once forgot my wife's magnetic charger for her iWatch and I never heard the end of it. I assume with this list your iPhone has a USB C connector, you'll need different DATA and CHARGING cables with a Lightning connector.
These are the parts I use. I got them all off Amazon. This is from memory, I think they are everything I use:

Treedix USB Cable Tester with LED for Type-C, Micro Type A, Type B
I leave this at home, just helpful to label which is which, DATA or CHARGING, from a box of spare USB cables I had lying around.
I put everything in the WANDF bag. The USB C Tester power meter tells you how much current the USB device you are charging is pulling to make sure you are not trying to pull more than the USB A port is rated at, which is about 1.5 to 2 Amps. It plugs between the phone and the USB cable. If you pull too much current the Spyder display usually cuts all power to the display, it goes blank, to prevent USB chips overheating on the display's circuit board.
The Treedix USB cable tester allows you to check cables are USB data, or USB charging only. Sometimes cables are marked charging and yet the transfer data too.
Then a whole bunch of USB power charging cables for the iPhones, iWatch, iPads, Helmets etc. USB C high speed data cables for the cameras. All pre connected to the correct charger ports and labelled accordingly. Nothing worse than trying to download photos from the cameras with a charging cable in a hotel at the end of a long day.
I know all the chargers and cables etc are expensive, but I never have to unplug all the cables and chargers every time I go on a trip by car, plane, or Spyder; then work out what goes to what when I get to a hotel; and finally, reattach everything when I get home again. Saves hours of pain. On the road in hotel rooms, I plug one charger block into my side of the bed for all my stuff, the other one into the other side of the bed for all her stuff, and the third one for cameras and helmets on a desk or sofa.
