• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I have a few i questions.

Having never had an i anything, I'm thinking of getting an i something to use on my Spyder. What's this "generation" thing on the iPod touch? Will a shuffle work properly? Is one better than another? How do I know what to get? I'm looking to buy something inexpensive to see if I like this format.

Please help!

The ipod cord that works with the spyder has the older 30 pin plug in. Newer generations have the lightning plug (smaller) if you get a newer generation you will need a lightning adapter. I hope that helps.

Get an older iPod touch. I have a 3rd Gen I bought for less than $50. It is permanently mounted in the trunk of the bike with some velcro.
Set it up to your homes wireless internet and if your bike is parked within range you should never have to touch it. You can load music and podcasts to it over the wireless network.
The setup works great for me.

Thank you for that information. I'll look for a 3rd generation iPod touch.
