Fun fact: Virginia has "speed checked by aircraft". Signs have been here for years.

Guess how often speed is actually checked by aircraft? Effectively never.

Now, things may have changed since back then, but given budget constraints, I'd be shocked if flights really have increased all that much.

Here, usually the "enforced by radar" signs in the neighborhoods mean little to nothing.

The air ones are enforced on a regular basis and you can see the chopper flying alongside the highway.

I am able to avoid them all the time. I keep the speed less than 5 mph over the posted limit and just drive through.
