There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. I had a Serious accident on my new F3!

Wow! I'm glad that you are ok! God bless you in your recovery! I've been in a motorcycle accident several years ago from being hit my a driver in a car and even though the accident wasn't as serious as what you had happen to you, it is still a chilling experience to go through. Again, good luck to you!

Speedy recovery God was you co-pilot, don't think about riding now just focus and getting back to 100%. 3 years ago I too had a bad crash and after being in a wheelchair and many many month of therapy I was back in the saddle. If there is anything I can tell you THERAPY is very important.

accident

:yikes: Last Saturday afternoon I had a serious accident on my new F3s. I was traveling in the right lane going 65 mph on the Sunshine Skyway Bridge (I-275) when I was suddenly rear ended by a car going at a high rate of speed. I was immediately ejected from the Spyder and went flying through the air about 30 feet. After landing bouncing and tumbling on the pavement, I ended up laying on my back next to the concrete median between the N and S lanes. I was very lucky to not have been hit by any vehicles traveling in the left lane as traffic was quite heavy. Somehow I remained conscious. Injuries included three broken ribs, broken clavicle, three broken bones
in lumbar area and road rash to both legs and back. I have been in the hospital for 8 days so far. I anticipate being here for another 4or 5 days. Fortunately I was wearing good protective gear (nylon jacket and pants w armor, Shoi full face helmet, gloves and MC boots.). I am 69 and am in good shape, but the human body is not designed to withstand this amount of trauma. The pain has been horrific. My family never liked me riding in the first place so now I am getting a lot of pressure to quit riding. I guess I will make that decision in the future.
good luck. life is very fragile. deer hugger

:gaah::gaah:.........Your blessed that you survived something like that..........prayers that you recover completely!:pray:

Glad you are able to write to us about what happened versus otherwise. Now the mending begins. "Both body AND mind.

Wishing you well

Sorry to hear some yahoo could not have been paying attention and you had to pay for it. As a have said above glad you’re on the mend get well. We had several Motorcycle crashes this weekend that were not so lucky…jtpollock

I hate to say it but this was not a serious accident. It was serious willful negligence or some other such legal term that better implies responsibility.

I truly hope you fully recover and are able to ride again. Soon.

AND have the energy and legal help to go after the scumbag that willfully did this to you. It was NOT an accident. The other driver willfully disregarded your safety and CAUSED this. They need to be held accountable. The sooner we do a better job of this, the better the roads will be for all rider.

Careless Cagers

Yeah, we just had a guy on a Harley killed in a head-on with a Buick that passed a pick-up that was slowing to make a right-hand turn. The cage driver apparently was in too big a hurry to slow down for the turning truck and too inattentive to look first. Damned sorry to hear about your unfortunate accident and hope you get healed-up and back out riding again. The old excuse that "gee officer I didn't see him" just doesn't hold water anymore in my humble opinion and these careless inattentive cagers need the book thrown at them in court.

better thank your guardian angel... glad you are still here to tell us about your accident... heal quickly & completely... this is a lesson for all of us... protective gear is a MUST when riding... we all think it will never happen us.........................
