• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Picked it up yesterday and I'm almost as excited as when I got my first bike. Put 200 miles on her the first day. I followed break-in procedures, don't worry :)

Already looking at farkles and maybe a cat delete.

Yee-haw!

I hope you are as happy with yours as I am with mine. Picked up my 2022 Sea to Sky day before yesterday(Wednesday). Traded my 2019 RTL in on it and got a very fair deal from Marine World in Wichita. Maybe it's just my imagination but it seems more stable that the 2019 even though the 2019 had BajaRon sway bar installed. I will have the BajaRon new three piece bar installed as soon as Lamonster has it in stock. I didn't get any break in instructions, dealer said to hold rpm within reason for the first 500 miles and to not drive one steady speed. Loving it.

Congratulations to both of you on your new 2022 S2S Spyders. I love the new Blue color on thoses S2S .
Wishing you many miles of smiles
Ryde safe and enjoy the Ryde

Enjoy your Ryde Time

:coffee:....I looked at them but I couldn't see myself making payments again. Enjoy your Ryde Time and Always be Safe. ....

Yeah, the payments are always the downer side. I look at it this way - I’m saving money on airline travel and while she’s on the bike it keeps the missus from shopping for clothes.:joke:

May I ask about what time you ordered it? I am waiting on a reverse actuator to arrive at my dealer before I can pick my RTL up.

Contrats!!! I also love the blue. I do have a question and don't want to steal this thread. My question is: What are the real advantages of going from a 2019 to the newer model? I ask, cus I am thinking of doing the same thing. I know the looks have changed and some other technical stuff, but is it worth the extra $'s.
I'm sure I'll get the usual-do a search, which I have.
Thanks, Bob

First take into account that I am no expert on these machines by any means. With the research I have done it appears of course that the looks have changed from the last gen. There is a tad more storage, and the gauges are different. I personally think the second gen looks better than the third generation. If I had a 2019 that was treating me well I personally wouldn’t consider an upgrade to the third gen. There is the issues of the factory warranty to consider however.

I got lucky. Someone backed out and I got my deposit down. Only had to wait three weeks. I don’t know how long it was at the dealer before that.

The dealers says parts are coming in faster these days.

I just got lucky too. Took my 2019 in to have the rear tire replaced and they had a Sea to Sky in stock but not completed but had the parts to complete it. Made a very fair offer to trade and I took them up on it. I have it in my mind that the 2020+ models of the RT have a slightly longer wheel base but that may not be correct. I liked the rear trunk on the 2020 models better than the rabbit hole on the 2019 and in general liked the looks of the entire bike better. I will comment that even though I had updated the head lights on the 2019 the factory led's are really impressive. Also, I think that engine heat management is much better than the older ones. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the 2019 and it had been a reliable and fun ride. The trade bug just bit me I guess. Different strokes for different folks.

we have ours for a little over 3 months and a little over 3,500 miles. Very easy to put miles and time on these things. Enjoy!!
