• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I found my key!

I got one of those Aprilla keys and gave it to my dealer to cut and clone. They didn't charge me, but it only worked for two days. Then I started getting a "bad key" error message. Anyone ever have that happen? I wonder if I can have it re-cloned.

No offense, but something is off here. When you add a key to a pre-2014 RT using the dealer system, it adds each key's code into a lookup table. When you clone a key it takes on the code of the original key. So if you clone key A, when you use the clone key, the Spyder (internally) says, I recognize key A, so I'll let them start me up.

So in your case, you are getting a "bad key" error. If it is a true cloned key then your original should also give you a "bad Key" error because they are sending out the same code.

I have had cloned Aprila keys for over a year now. I use them instead of my OEM keys and have not had a problem with them.
