Thanks to all the info I got on this forum made me feel comfortable getting a SE5 yesterday. Why I even met a spyder owner in my hood that brought his machine and went over his mods. It made buying easy and the savings account lighter.
On a brighter note my wife now wants to ride with me, says the spyder is a lot more stable than the Ol Honda. Thanks to all!!!!

Glad you put a deposit down on your Spyder...now it's time to pay up and get all the mods!

Funny, my wife is just the opposite. Loved to lean through the corners on my bikes, and is having a lot of trouble adjusting to the handling characteristics of the Spyder. Of course, she may not be typical. She also hates malls and generally does not like to shop!

Hmmm, I'm going to have to put my wife in touch with yours. She was in a motorcycle accident 30 years ago, and hasn't been willing to get back on one since. In any case, congrats on your Spyder!

Same story with my lovely bride. Accident threw her head first over the bars.

She's ridden more with me on the Spyder in this last year an a half than she has with me on any of my bikes since 1984.
