Does Ron make a bar for that one? :roflblack:

love it.....you might need a bit larger engine and some extended foot pegs.............how long has it been? I have not been on mine since August 26th....that is when BRP asked me not to ride it until we could figure out what is wrong.....in the shop...pick up Monday...too excited
That is the info I got from BRP customer service. Cognac is first then yellow then the other colors and finally white in February. They are killing me.
Time to step up to the plate, folks . . . is there a sponsor or a member who paints Spyders who would paint a Cognac Spyder white for SpyderAnn01? With over 12,000 members, we all ought to be able to toss a few bucks, each, in the hat and get it painted, at no cost to her! I was without my Spyder for only a couple weeks, and you can see from all the bit:cus:ing I did, that it was really driving me up a wall . . . I can't imagine where Ann's head is, now!
Is that YOU??? :roflblack:Make your decision very carefully, Ann. Those things are not as easy to ride as you might think!
Thanks, but BRP's latest word to me is that they will try to ship me a RTS-SM6 in any color then change the panels to white when they become available. A loaner would have been awesome but they wouldn't give me one since I chose to wait to buy a 2014 instead of replacing my 2013 with another 2013.
Not when there aren't enough to go around...Building one color at a time is a manufacturing technique from the 1960's. Ridiculous. Modern manufacturing techniques are to build what the customer wants WHEN they want it!
How do we know that to be true? :dontknow:Not when there aren't enough to go around...

Glad to hear that they're stepping up to the plate for you on this one! :2thumbs:
Thanks for the well-written explanation!:2thumbs:Not with plastic molding or painting. You do a full run of one color, then you have to flush the molding/painting equipment completely before you can switch to the next color to avoid contamination. It would be cost-prohibitive to do short runs of each color. JIT (Just-In-Time) manufacturing only works for specialized products, and not even for everything in those categories.
