• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I can't go without a Spyder any longer

I wanted a 2014 RTS-SM6 in White and I was told today that BRP won't be building white ones until February so I decided to go another route. I'm sure you can all understand my frustration and I hope to see you all somewhere down the road

Probably won't be very far down the road, maybe not even to the end of my driveway.

I called my dealer today and he said his white 2014 RTS's will come in first in Nov/Dec before yellow. & cognac. And you heard Feb for white.

Make your decision very carefully, Ann. Those things are not as easy to ride as you might think!

That is the info I got from BRP customer service. Cognac is first then yellow then the other colors and finally white in February. They are killing me.

Sure would be a great PR move for them to put you on a Cognac and swap out the panels for white later on for you. I know it may be asking too much realistically, but one can always hope. And hey, we know they read the boards, so maybe,,, just maybe!

That is exactly what we are working on right now. I'm waiting to hear when they can get me an RTS manual in any color and they will change body parts later. With my luck they will tell me that they aren't building any manuals until March! I'm sure if I wanted to pay the price for a Limited in cognac I could have one by Nov 1st but I really don't want the semi auto and I don't want to spend the money on a Limited

Good choice..!!

that is the only model I know of that never needs checking the air in the tires...and they never go flat...sure wish brp would make an effort in your situation...!!

Ann....It just shouldn't be this hard. Why is it so difficult for BRP to do the right thing here? :banghead: Helping you and going above and beyond (as they should) would give them more than their moneys worth in good public relations. This ain't rocket science here BRP. :gaah:

love it.....you might need a bit larger engine and some extended foot pegs.............how long has it been? I have not been on mine since August 26th....that is when BRP asked me not to ride it until we could figure out what is wrong.....in the shop...pick up Monday...too excited

They are working on making things "right" it just is taking way too long for me! I had the 2013 for 13 1/2 weeks and it has been 7 weeks since it burned :banghead: The build schedule at BRP does seem to be rocket science , at least to them. It seems that they make one color at a time and for a long time before they switch :gaah: It is really frustrating when I get someone on the outside telling me that they are getting a 2014 delivered the second week of October then when I talk to BRP I find out that actual production will not start until the 15th of October.

I wanted to buy one of the Spyders from the dealer show but after waiting a week for an answer that got nixed. :banghead: I will say that the guy I am dealing with in Customer Service has been really good about following up and calling me back when he says he will.

Building one color at a time is a manufacturing technique from the 1960's. Ridiculous. Modern manufacturing techniques are to build what the customer wants WHEN they want it!
