• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

...Unless you count the entire City as one! :yikes:

Really, you think that a city regularly sounds like a war zone? Ever been to Chicago? I have, many times. Oh, and snow in New Years? Fire works in New Years smart @$$?

BTW I thought you gave up on that behavior, and you were ignoring me?

Is that hammering?

Must be one hell of a construction project, they have to work at night too?:joke:

 I thought so also...

Funny: isn't it? :D
Yeah, my sister-in law live just outside Chicago. Wife and I went there a couple years ago. I dont think I would ever own a bike there. They have street lights every ten feet. Took us a half hour to ride 3 miles. But that was down in the city.

Let me expel some rumors. I'm from Chicago, I spent Christmas in Chicago where we had one of the deadliest Christmas' ever. My parents live in an area of the city called Pullman - not the best part of town. Have I ever heard gun shots there, of course. This video seems excessive. I've been to Iraq and know what a combat sounds like. I'm not saying this video is fake, but they were parked under an overpass that amplifies sounds from everywhere. Were there gun sounds in this video? Probably. But I think it was designed to make Chicago sound like Ramadi, it's not.

Does anyone ever click on youtube when a video is posted, and the youtube icon shows in the lower right? I view it that way just to read the comments that follow. They are very interesting, to say the least.

It is true that Chicago does have a large problem with guns, shootings, and homicides.

Anchorage AK does too. We have now beat the record for homicides in a year. There were three homicides on Christmas Eve. One left a six year old watching the murder of both his parents. The murderers were there to rob and dressed in black like Ninjas. The child told police that Ninjas came and killed his parents. This one was over drugs and money.

A very sad sign of the times. :gaah::gaah:

That is sad. What's even sadder is the parents being into drugs, and having a young child. Of course, I may have misinterpreted what you were saying, and the parents were not into drugs, but the ninjas were looking for some.

The parents were into drugs. My sadness is for the child. The news here tried to gloss over the part that the killing was drug related.
