• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

:congrats: on passing your test!!

If you're getting an RT, I'd go for the '14. But you may want to check out the new F3 when it come out this winter.

Hmmmmm.... Which model to buy???? :D

Dont know about TX but in OK, no further testing is required

after you take an accredited MSA safety class, you do not have to do anything but get a new license with the M endorsement to legally ride.

Check out EBay for pricing on 2014's Then take that to your TX dealer and see if they will negotiate. I saw an RT-S on ebay for between $21000 and $22000 on Saturday.

Congrats on passing! Oh, remember that the 2-wheeler you rode in class handles MUCH differently than the 3-wheeler you are getting! ;)

Totally opposite in Ny. Written part first then road test

Aqwsome I will soon be in class.
I recommend the MSF Basic Riders Course even if you feel you are an experienced rider. Granted you are practicing skills associated with 2 wheeler's, but the safety knowledge gained over and above any book reading is invaluable. So much so that when riding or driving you will be able to tell who has taken the course and who hasn't just by watching the rider.
Good stuff!

I recently did my my training on a Spyder in Houston, passed their test and then passed the Texas written test. Now trying to decide which Spyder to get....decisions, decisions!

He's doing it right.

Texas reqires both a written test and a riding test for the M endorsement. But if you've had the MSC, the riding portion is waved.

:agree:. After completing the MSF Basic Riders Course years ago in PA, in order to get my motorcycle license, I went back and took the advanced course two years later. It peaked my skills, and I learned even more. And like you said, when you are with other of riders, you really can tell the those who has taken the course - not only by their safety practices, but also by their skill level.

The wife has her beginners. Still needs to do the Abate course to get her endorsement. I think she is dragging her heels so that I have to do all the work. She doesn't realize that is where the fun is at for me. :congrats: on your new :spyder2:, whichever you decide will be the best fun you have ever had!! It is for us!
