I beat the heat with this gear

I tried mesh jacked and cooling vests but nothing helps when it's above 80F. So I found this, the Icon Stryker vest. I find it to be almost as good as no jacket when it comes to the freedom and airflow it gives me. It's light and has a very nice comfy liner. From an armor standpoint, it's better than most jackets. I just wish it came down the arm. I pair this up with some forearm-elbow guards and short cuff gloves.

Nice Armor....

But I do see they have the Icon Stryker Rig with full sleeve protection. Wonder how that one works with the heat....:dontknow:

I know, it does not cover the upper arm. But I do use elbow pads. There are many available.
