• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hyperflash

When I added my Matuza saddle bags to my 2013 STS and wired in the lights I get Hyperflash on the signal lights. So my question is if I installed resistors to get rid of that when the bags are on the bike will it hurt anything when I take the bags off? I do have the stock bulbs in the lights now. Because I only have the bags on when we go on overnight trips. Thanks. Joel

Not sure

You can search the hyperflash for the threads posted by Lamont on how to fix this but I don't know how it will be affected if you are going back and forth with the bags. :dontknow: worth a try before installing resistors....

Joel[/QUOTE} Interesting - I have the same bags but didn't think this would be an issue .... they are LED units and normally they don't cause this type of thing to occur - because the power draw is tiny and within the parameters of the Nanny .... I added LED's to both my GS & RSS and didn't have an issue .... I wired them directly into the wiring circuit at the connectors & didn't ADD any resistors..... Mike

You'll probably have to add some resistors to your turn-signal wiring...
Ask Lamont: he'll know what to do about it.

Resistors

When I put LED signal lights in I finally had to add resistors. The button pushing worked for a little while but the hyper flash came back. With the added resistors ----- NO MORE HYPERFLASH.

I've had to reset my hyper flashing lights more than once. However, with the addition of the last lights, I decided I liked the hyper flashing. It seems more 'attention demanding'. Dunno. YMMV
