• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hwy Pegs for a SM-6

This may be common knowledge to some of you folks, but can anyone tell me which pegs to buy and what will work for a 2014 RTS-SM-6...I searched for this answer on the forum, but couldn't put my eye on the exact answer. I am using a standard seat, and I'm 6'-0" tall with average length legs lol... I just rode a 300 mile trip and wished I could have moved the feet off of the standard pegs to stretch the legs a bit while riding. Thanks in advance!

this is what i used and i love them, you can buy them from lamont, the site owner http://lamonstergarage.com/installation-instructions/fbb-install.html

I see that the link you provided has instructions for "floor board" models... That won't help, at least I don't think it will? I hate to be needy, but I need help with a standard shift spyder. I have viewed lamonster's garage but couldn't tell if the SM-6 models could use the pegs??? Sorry for the questions, but more guidance is needed.

You want the NBV peg mounts. Go to the home page click on lamonstergarge and under products choose the NBV. Instructions are there. These are the mounts that I use and they will work on yours.

John, I am going to get the same pegs for Mr. Cognac. Do the install instructions you show come with them? Thanks

yes they do and real easy to install, i did it a lil different. he suggests you clamp them down under the floor board and drill upwards. i held mine under the boards and with a pencil i outlined the outside edge of the board onto the mounting bracket, than i held the bracket on top of the board lining up the pencil mark with the top of the board and drilled down through the bracket into the floorboard. i found this much easier to do and no jacking the bike up to drill

Thanks John. Sounds much easier. You might wish to pass your info to Lamont so he can try your method.

Brian, if you are still looking for the instructions, I have them for a 2014 SM-6. I can scan and send.
