• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

How's your Spyder Service 2

I think most dealers are OK on scheduled service because their techs have been trained to do them, however when the bike breakes down they don't have a clue what's wrong and are reluctant to ask for help from BRP. At least that"s been my experience.

Mine gets right on the horn w/ BRP. It never broke down but I did have the steering scare.

I'm not convinced it is a solid fix since BRP hasn't said anything about nothing and I wasn't able to ride it much when I got it back since the winter came but it worked after he installed a new DPS - now I just gotta ryde it once it warms up. Only got to take it on one outing before it got cold out.

He was in constant contact w/ BRP during this whole thing.

Then that's probably someone you don't want to recommend:dontknow:

There are quite a few places for service and I'm putting a list together of Spyderlover recommendations. If you aren't comfortable putting them on then don't. I haven't listed one because I'm waiting to get my :spyder: back from my steering issues and it's my first time dealing with this Service Dept. They *seem* to be on the ball, but I'll make my recommendation after I ryde my ryde for a while:doorag:

Had a stalling problem and the service dept. had it for over 5 wks.and where telling me there was nothing wrong with it. After a heated conversation with the service manager they finally called BRP. They figured out the problem over the phone and pats were in the mail within 2 hrs.

Another sevice dept. could'nt figure out a bad rely was the problem for an overheating problem. Again saying there was nothing wrong with. It's nice to know that not all experiences are bad. I guess thats just my luck.

my dealer rocks

My dealer rocks. South Texas Suzuki out of Lytle Texas. Ken,Kelly,Bruce and Jason Do a great job. Could not ask for Better folks in the bussiness to take care of me.

CT Land 'n Sea Marine.

Service dept is great. Always got my Spyder back quickly. They covered most things except uneven wear on my front tires. Great guys to deal with.

Besides the good service we received from our home dealer, Leisure Life Sports in Omaha, Rice Honda Suzuki in Rapid City, SD, took care of my screeching brake problem on the spot when we stopped in while on vacation last September. I think there was another spyderlover who needed their help during Sturgis week and also got great service.

FL- Panama City Sea-Doo Honda Yamaha.

After having a Steering lockup they picked up my Spyder at my house with a trailer, replaced the power steering unit and I had it back, 9 days later. The entire time it was at the dealerships service department, I never had to call to get an updates, they called me. Since having the DPS replaced, it's still working great after more than 1400 miles.

Knock on Wood

BRADFORD MARINE in North Little Rock, Arkansas.........

Top-Notch dealership with an exemplary service department !! :firstplace:

I go to Xtreme Machines in Millstone, NJ and they have treated me very good. My bike is there now for the 12K service and to fix the hesitation and steering problems. I get email updates when something has been done and am happy about the service.
