• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Howling noise coming from front middle at low speeds - any ideas?

On my 2022 RT Limited with 4,700 miles, I hear a howling sound at low speeds (lower than 10mph) and it appears to be coming from front middle going forward or backward. I jacked up each front tire and spun them and it does not re-create the noise... all I hear when spinning the tires is a slight brake pad rub. I noticed the noise months ago, and maybe even last year, but it seems to be getting a little louder lately. Any ideas?

I would check your pads, make sure you don't have any scoring on your rotor! I am not familiar with the 1330 engine, but if it was a 998, I would be looking at the water pump to see if there's any weeping going on at the weep hole where you say it's coming from the middle of the bike and that's where it is, front middle! Do you only hear it while the bikes in motion, or can you make it do it by rolling the gas slowly?

Mikey, thank for the response. The noise only happens when the bike is rolling forward or backward. When sitting still and slowly or aggressively revving up the engine it does not happen.
