There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

One caveat: just because they have a certified tech doesn't mean you'll get satisfactory service. A friend took his RS to a newly certified dealer. It took them over 3 months to fix it and they rebuilt the whole engine for a clutch problem at a cost of nearly $6000.

:agree: just ask and you can ask to talk to the tech as well. A certified dealer is one thing but if they have certified techs is your main concern. I have been in this long enough to know they are fickle and will change shops at the drop of a hat. So keep asking......:lecturef_smilie:

Yes & No. My dealer has the Platinum certificate on the front door. The fine print shows 2012. The currently have no certified techs and don't plan on any more. I still trust them with my :spyder2: but I don't have any choice. I am hostage in a state with only one dealer and two locations. The other shop is "official" still. It is going to be an interesting next year or so for me.
