• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

How to pack like a Pro

heck, my wife has been doing that for years and years and even has room for bourbon and vermouth. :roflblack:

She doesn't use that music though. :lecturef_smilie:

Packing

:roflblack::roflblack: that was awesome! I do a version of that. I try to take as much as I can so I WON'T have to go to the laundry mat. Did I ever tell you, I HATE LAUNDRY MATS! :banghead:

I throw out the old, and buy new and necessity dictates...
I've also shipped home the stuff that's too dirty to put back into the luggage... :opps:

Well done, but how do you fit the bag inside the trunk? :roflblack::roflblack:

I'd throw the bag and just use the trunk and you'll have more extra room.:yes::yes:

Puttting the stuff in Ziplock bags, squezze the air out, pack lots of stuff. Put tee shirt, socks, shorts in a bag, take out clean, put in used when you shower.
Works great. No music required.

:yikes: I'm so useless at packing, when I travel for work my wife laughs I take a huge suit case just for a week.

That seemed a lot of t-shirts and not enough pants but thats just me, hell I take my RT-622 just for sleepover.

Packing for a trip can be "fun" sometimes.

Sorry, not a facebooker so could not access the information in question.

I am a very light packer. Enough stuff to least me for x days. Major clothes changes for every other day or so. What I forget or must have when I get there, I just buy it.

A week's journey anywhere for me will fit in a carry on bag with no problems. When I travel by :spyder2: most of what I have will fit into the two saddlebag suitcases on my RT.

Me either. Have to get the wife to look at it. Getting ready for a trip, I get my stuff out, she packs it. Then as we're pulling out of the driveway we run a checklist, turn around and go back for what we forgot :roflblack:

Seems to me to get to anything, he has to completely unpack everything. After a couple of nights of his method, I think I'd come up with a new method.

2nd that....

I spend 75% of my time traveling and besides not being to use this method to pack suits, I think the entire logic of wrapping one t-shirt in 10 others, is a bit odd. I can easily pack 2 suits, 4 shirts, 4 ties, jeans, t-shirts, sneakers into a relatively small carry-on case, which I never check-in when traveling.

When on a bike trip, I sometime take a t-shirt, shorts, socks & rollthem up in a pair of jeans. They pack small and make getting a fresh day's clothing a snap. The only downside is that you have to either not mind the wrinkles in your shirt or iron it. Since I normally use the jeans for more than one day of the ride, I'll have more rolls of clothes without jeans than with.
