• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. How to move my spyder

Questions

New member
Hey everyone i was just wondering if anyone has a dolly system to easily move the spyder around in a small garage. Last night i bought snowmobile dollies wow was that a mistake. Someone has to engage the brakes as i push it around, if not the dollies fly out from the tires. Does any one have any products or ideas to make this easy.

Thanks

You might be able to use the dollies you have. Put a small strap thru the rim and down around the dolly to hold them to the tires. For the rear wheel, set the parking brake

These are from Harbor Freight

I bought 3 of these from Harbor Freight. They work good on a smooth floor, the tire fits them well and will not fly out. They are on sale for $11.99. I have an RS I am not sure they will work as well with the extra weight of an RT.

What I would like is to be able to easily drive my Spyder on to some sort of moveable platform then be able to move it sideways. Then I would have room to keep both the Spyder and the car in my garage. I'm working on a design now.

Might be a bit tough on the tire for long term storage like over the winter. I'd fill in the hole in the middle with another board so the tire will have a smooth, flat surface to sit on for the long haul.
