• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

How to make life long friendships

Lamonster

SpyderLovers Founder
I've been running club sites for over 7 years now and no matter what bike I was riding at the time I've been able to make some life long friendships all over the world.

It all started on the message boards but what really makes the relationship strong is sharing the wind and sharing some meals with fellow riders. Even turning a wrench or two with the guys will bring you closer.

If you get a chance to ride with a fellow SpyderLover and share a meal, do it. You will be building on something that will last far longer than the ride itself.:doorag:

Here's a pic of my new friends. :2thumbs:

Hope you can get the problems fixed and make it to Santa Ysabel on Saturday and you can add another Spyder Ryder friend to your list.

Hey, I was just thinking - if your Spyder will only go 40 mph that's OK, I'll be able to stay with you on the Julian ride.

friendships

lamont has hit on something. It's been along time since something different as the spyder has come along in the motorcycle industry. While other bike cos.just expand the line.CanAm/bombardier has broken new ground.Never has a vehicle attracted so much attention as the spyder.I've built some pretty wild custom rides and maybe generated 5 to 10 mins. going over some of the finer details of the bike but the spyder gets more attention and more enthusiasm from all walks of people.I've been to the local highschool shop classes and tech schools w/the spyder and they just pour over it!On the road families stop and ask questions and even have their pictures taken on it.I've never felt more connected than ever before.I've got more business cards than I can fit in my jacket pockets. We must make it a point to be good embassadors while on the road w/our spyders.WE ARE DIFFERENT!Embrace the attention, make someone elses day!Don't take offense to those who don't understand why you prefer this type of motorcycle.Soon we will be allover!Semper Fi !! JUST RIDE!:2thumbs:
