• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

How to Jack up rear end

Does anyone know the best location to jack up the back of an RT. I tried jacking under the shock but not sure that's the best location.

Per the RT Service Manual "Do not lift under rear shock absorber. Always lift by the frame." Page 484

Jacking up RT

Thank you for your reply. I never noticed anything about Jacking in the manual. I will look again. Their doesn't seem to be an easy frame location to catch with a jack.

I guess they say that because a shock could fail if you're under it but the jack could fail too. I always use jack stands after I get it off the ground to work on.

When I had the rear tire replaced at Burt's on the RT they jacked it from the rear shock.
