• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

How to fix your hard to close Rear Trunk and side bags

This one doesnt need a video. But your imagination will may be harmed or at least strained...

For the rear trunk:
find the two pair of torx bolts on either side of the lock receiver on the "fender". (Hint: trunk must be open)
loosen those bolts. Now push the plastic edge of the "fender" in as hard as it will go. tighten up each pair of bolts. repeat for both sides. May need to have all four loosen at the same time and then tighen all. This fixed up my trunk latch close issue.

For side bags:
Similair to above, loosen bolts around lock receiver. Push plastic inwards and tighten bolts. test with side bag closure.
Repeat for other side.

Both have worked for me 100%

just dont slam them and close then push them to latch firmly

a good hip push on the side bags closes them every time... just gently close and then a push

same with back trunk

Nice!

Did Sopher fix now I just push the lid and it closes ,even my girlfriend can close it now!:2thumbs:

Thanks

When the salesman first show me the RT , he tried to close the sidebags it made me laugh. He had no idea what to do, kept fighting with them, slamming them... HE was good at hipchecking them though. The hipcheck works.

Good tip, it should be passed on to all BRP dealers and the top brass @ BRP.
