• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

How to change horn on the F3

Has anybody changed the horn on the F3?? I looked at the shop manual and it appears that it is located near the right front under a panel - not so. BRP should be ashamed to install such a pathetic sounding device in an otherwise fine machine. Obviously they do not have the safety of the rider in mind.

Don't know..!!

if anyone has. Don't have an F3 but bet the bad boy would work fine. It fit in the same area as the stock horn in the RS and there are threads on how for the RT. Just need to pop a panel or two and see what you have to work with. If you go with maybe a fiaam it is the same but much louder...

Yes, the RT is a piece of cake but not the F3. The type of horn is not the issue but how to get to it on the F3

My electronic manual shows the horn underneath the F3 on right tire side. May have to jack up the F3. The "Right protection panel" underneath needs to be removed - pulls straight down (don't know whether their are fasteners).

Appears to be just across inside right tire.

No wonder it is not loud - it is located close to ground with a cover over it.

Hope this helps

Manual will not let me copy picture.

My 14 RS-S is just as bad if not worser (new word). I am looking into a Goldwing horn I think it was about 105 DB. I know where mine is located and think it will fit. Sorry don't know about the F3.
