• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

How to bypass Washington D.C.

Heading to Ocean City, Maryland next week. We like to take back roads whenever travelling and was wondering if anyone knew what route is best to bypass Washington D.C. coming from N.E. Ohio.

I went to google maps and typed in Ohio to Ocean City, MD. All routes they showed had you staying north of DC. There is no need for you to go as far south as DC, so any route that google shows you ought to work. A very long day (over 10 hrs) or a reasonable trip if broken into 2 days. Hope your trip is a safe one!

Depending on when you plan on going the route north of DC can suck. The Rt 50 bridge at Annapolis can take hours to cross on Fridays and weekends. The only other options are to go way south to VA Beach and then north on US 13 or take 95 north of Baltimore and pick up 13 south.

Holidays are even worse!
