• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. How reliable are spyders?

I really appreciate all the replies. We have a 2022 Yamaha Wolverine, and we will either sell or trade it in, if we decide to get a Spyder. My concerns were based on what I had read online, and we all know what that is worth. As for riding on gravel, that would only be two times a year. We bought our UTV from a dealer in Tucson and they are also a Spyder dealer. I'll let you folks know what we decide.
Thanks,
Willie

My Spyder has 82K+ miles on it, had the parking brake motor replaced under factory warranty on it at 9,350 and 7 1/2 months use, and never so much as a hiccup since. My goal is 150K and if it makes it that far at my current mileage rate I'll be 89. May have to plan on a new one then because I'm shooting for 95.

I have a 2021 Chalk White RTL and have ridden it for a little over 12,000 miles and seven states. I have had no problems and I try to stay up to date on taking care of the machine.

I think we will probably buy new if we can find one. The dealer we bought our UTV from in Tucson has some listed online. I will try to check them out next week.
We probably would only take one or two long trips per year. about 1200 miles each. At 84 years old I don't have any interest in doing long days. Wife and I have been in 49 stats on two wheels, the year I retired we rode the four corners tour. That trip was started from southern Indiana. Total mileage was 10,500 by the time we made it back home. We stopped once to get an oil change at an independent shop that I knew the owner. That was a great trip!
I think if we get one our riding will be here in southern Arizona.

Willie

FYI; The dealer I like in Arizona is Sierra Cycles in Sierra Vista. I haven't had good luck dealing with others here. May be worth a look.....? Good luck..... Jim

That's great. Hope I will be able to to what you are doing when I am 84. Good luck and enjoy yourselves.
