• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

How old are you?

...That is the second time I have fallen over in the past couple of weeks. Kinda saps ones confidence.

Hey goat, for your own safety get yourself to your doctor; those falls can kill us. Tell the doc you need physical therapy to help some of those muscles help you. Be safe!

81

Tried to get up after kneeling down on my "good" knee. The thigh muscle was not as strong as I thought and I fell back onto the right angle of my concrete basement wall. My back is now covered in scuffs, scrapes and band aids. Life sucks sometimes. That is the second time I have fallen over in the past couple of weeks. Kinda saps ones confidence.

Stay safe ..... Mike

74 in a few weeks ...been riding two wheels since I was 14..riding Spyder's for the past 9 years...
My dad (god bless his sole) when asked his age would reply " old enough to do it again...but young enough to know better"

I still use the flip side of that ^^ one - I'm 'old enough to know better... but young enough to do it again anyway!' :ohyea:

We Texans seem to be a bunch of senior seniors - 76 here and still riding both two and three wheels. Started riding in 1963 and I've been fortunate enough to have ridden throughout most of western Europe and a short time in Turkey, though I have to admit those days were a few decades ago. My favorite place is, and always will be, the Isle of Man. I've ancestors who hail from there and it's sort of like going home, not to mention it's a beautiful island. Another trip will be my 80th birthday present to myself, if I'm still around!

Age

I will be 59 in September. Been ryding bikes since I was a young man. Had a Goldwing in the 80's and a few 4 wheelers. Got my first Spyder in July 2020
and I am loving it.

I'm trying to come to grips with my wife dying last month after 56 happy yrs together. I find it tends to take up all my time just surviving. I've had enough of doctors in the past 2 yrs to last a lifetime.
I will make every though to be more careful and see my physiotherapist. Thanks.
