• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

You have just the right amount of mods the day before you trade it in for a new one... sometimes folks won't admit to themselves the susceptibility for wanting a new spyder so they spend money on mods right before the trade in.. that is money out the window... best to be honest with yourself when you set your holding period for the bike

Curious how the name was derived:shocked:

I've had this screen name since the old BB days in the 90s when a 14.4 modem was lightning fast and a 450mHz Pentium III meant you were the king of the geeks! It goes back to a drunken night of too much crappy Bud and all night sessions of Unreal tournament. Those days are long gone but "Nic" still remains.

$900 ....two bros and backrest. I still want a juice box and would like to do something with the rear fender
Nic I'm from Enfield CT

Insurance

What you've got in them isn't wha't important; it's what yiou get OUT of them! :2thumbs:
But still; keep track of the "Farkle PIle" for insurance purposes...
(I carried $8,000 in accessory coverage on my 2010, and was over the top...)

Without any accessories except sway bar, my insurance is above $1,100. How much you ended with covering accessories as well?? I live in MD

...NOt being fully-versed in Maryland Insurance Rules and Regulations; I'd have to suggest that you contact your insurance broker, and see if they have a better (more cost-competitive) market for you and your bike...
Rates are affected by a host of factors:
Where you live
Your Age
Your sex
Driving Records
Experience on Bikes
Marital Status
Credit Reports
and Coverages that are chosen...

My OLD bike; with $8,000 dollars in Accessory coverage was about $500 per year...
The NEW bike is over $700...
but I have an at-fault chargeable accident hanging around my neck... :opps:

I'll have you know Some of us are still running a Pentium III 500mHz with a 13gb hard drive...

Hard to believe, but Support for Windows XP has ended. As of April 8, 2014, support and updates for Windows XP are no longer available. Outch!

I finally bought a new HP, last year, just for my RC flying practice, with RealFlight 6.5 SIM.
