• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

How much $ you got into your spyder

I was going thru a folder I keep on my spyder and decided to add up all the recepits i had for mods/work into the bike. I came up with $6000 to my suprise. And theres so much more i want to do. When is enough , enough ? How much do you have in your spyder?

It is a good idea to take a look at that and make sure that you have sufficient insurance coverage. When my 13 burned I was really close to my accessory limit on my insurance. I bumped it a little higher on this one.

Prob too much. After spyderquest it'll be close to 2000.00. Sometimes I question if it's worth it. Will never get it back out. I guess it's making it your own that counts:spyder2:

Cheap addition, is swell

I spent a whole $39.99 on a RENS Sheepskin at IKEA for my COMFORTABLE seat. ;-)

I went big time for accessories on the 08 and the 09. About $6,500 worth on each one.

When I got the RT's, I have bought much less. Currently, I have about $350 on my 2014 RT-S and think I am pretty much done.

The 2011 has a comfort seat that I got for 1/2 price. $250.00

Depends..!

seems the bigger the roadster the more you have in it. RT's spend the most even though they come with so much more. I have an RS and have little in it...

What you've got in them isn't wha't important; it's what yiou get OUT of them! :2thumbs:
But still; keep track of the "Farkle PIle" for insurance purposes...
(I carried $8,000 in accessory coverage on my 2010, and was over the top...)

I have about $3000 and I am not done! I love this bike and I love adding stuff... It makes me smile whenever I look at my bike... That us priceless

The Akro wasn't factory-installed...
If you've got an RT Limited; your Zumo, and the 'boards were standard on the bike.

By the way... Nice Wheels!
How did you do that?

Be careful not to over spend on accessories coverage with your insurance. They do not pay replacement cost for accessories, they pay actual cash value, just like the bike. Its MUCH less than what you paid, usually about 30%.

 Buy whatever you want fo rhe bike; just go into it with your eyes open...

Increase the amount of coverage for your accessories as the list grows longer... and longer... and longer... and longer...

If you calculate the cost of "farkles" by the miles you have on your :spyder:the cost will go down over time.:roflblack: Currently they have cost about $0.20 per mile and I am at 36,000 miles :dontknow:..............that's a reasonable cost :lecturef_smilie: That's is not including the RT622 trailer.

I've only had him two months and have only added a set of Web Boards...so far. Between lights and a new seat I know that this time next year I'll have alot put into him.
