• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

How much did the color affect your decision when purchasing your Spyder.

Not at all. I would have bought any color that was priced right. Learned long ago that you can get it painted. I was lucky to find a Orbit Blue at the right price, but the next bike was yellow (my wife's favorite)

it was the lava bronze with tan seat that finally sold me(hugh influence) , it just so different and classy looking.

Got the Lava Bronze, had the option of what color seat and went with the Black, no regrets, we love it.

Went to Cowtown to buy a red and a little old lady rode out on their last one and we arrived. Wife liked the blue better. Who knew we would own two blue RTS roadsters.

I said any color but blue and the boss wanted the white Limited and SE5 was a requirement. A big bargain came along in blue with SM5, so the boss got used to it. :p

It sure affected mine as I fully expected to buy the red RT S which I knew was in stock at the dealer.I also liked the white but not enough to influence spending more.As I walked into the dealership I saw the Lava Bronze which had just been put out. This was only in the Limited version. It had lots of extras chrome ,bags etc etc but it was the color that made me spend all that extra money.:dontknow::ohyea::yes:

Definitely agree with you about the Lava Bronze! :2thumbs: It was the only color for us! It seems like a lot of folks have the white 2012's but we just love the color of the L.B. Can't wait for it to arrive from the dealer.:yes:

No options...........

I loved the white from the day I first saw it. Bought it, love it, can't get off it........& don't need to upgrade next year!!

Color Option

When we decided to buy, it was the pearl white that absolutely got our attention. That is how we ended up with the limited.

100% Decision was color

Lava Bronze with Tan Seat. I saw a picture of it, and wow.........started looking for a Spyder. That was the only color combination I wanted at the time.

We had pretty much settled on the Perl White before going in for visibility reasons. Once we saw it, there was no other color to consider.
