• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

How many watts can the USB ports on the 2023 RTL provide?

It's a USB 2 connector, so by definition:

I have read posts that say some can charge their phones on that USB connection, but for me it's a no go. I can plug in my Galaxy S20 to it, and it does not charge my phone and when I do plug in my GPS it's the same. I am wondering why there is such a difference, especially in the same model year as my 2023 RT-L, which has to get charging power from the trunk to charge the battery?
I do not use the BRP app, so I ran a USB cord (10') from the trunk up under the seat to the small box where the Factory USB plug was. There are adapters to change the Mini USB to a "C" to plug into my phone, so I have both GPS and Phone power to charge.
It wouldn't put it past BRP that some issues may have come from the assembly, as I have 2 Factory defects on my 23 RT-L. Quality Control must have been to lunch when mine was built.

I had my phone plugged into the USB port on the dash of my 2021 RTL. It maintained the current level of charge on the phone, but if it was low, it would not charge it up. I also got an "!" mark on my dash for about 1/2 mile on my last trip. While in for a saddle bag repair, I asked them to see what it was about. They charged me $44 to hook the bike to BUDS and came to the conclusion that it indicated that my phone was getting "hot" from the charger and there was nothing wrong with the bike.
