• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

How many Spyders have you owned.....

Well .........................

2012 RT Limited
2013 RT Basic
2014 RT S
2015 RT Limited
2016 F3 Limited

without using common core math that adds up to 5 and so far roughly 85,000 miles on them (2016 still has 0 miles on it)

Just one for me, 2008 GS. No need to get a new one as I don't ride the one I have. I put about 24,000 miles on it the first four years (would of had a lot more but trailered to many far away gatherings due to wife's illness). The past three years I have not put more than 500 miles total on the darn thing. I just have no desire to ride, all the fun is gone for me. I keep it around just in case I snap out of this funk I'm in.

So far...Five...

2008 GS/SM5--the first one sold to a customer in Alaska.
2009 RS/SE5--one of the first SE5's sold in Alaska
2010 RTS Premier Edition #474--The first iteration of the RT with all the whistles and bells
2011 RT A&C--Purchased new in 2012 for Linda
2014 RT-S/SE6--this one has the new 1330/3 engine. Its looking like I am the only yellow colored one around here.

It has been a nice ride and I have over 130,000 miles across these five. Nothing new other than the F3 which does not fit ME well. Waiting until something really new or innovative happens with our "touring couches."

:bbq::bbq::bbq::bbq::bbq::bbq:

2012 RTS-SE5( first spyder) because of the "1330" Ace engine.

2014RTS-SE6( current spyder) the 1330 Ace engine. Current mileage :16,000 as of 10/15/16.

On my third

2012 rs se5 put 35000 on it traded it in 2014
2014 sts se5 put 45000 miles on it and it spent 6 months in the shop in the 2 years I had it.
Now 2015 f3 sm6 had for 3 months and have 13500 miles on it!!!

I am on my second. I started on the 2008 GS sm5 Premier Edition No. 2817. I now have the 2016 F3-T se6.

Well, I've owned one very well farkeled, now cool running, catless, fully paid for, beautiful lava bronze 2013 RTL, with a great sounding spunky 998 engine, that has never run better in its life than it's running right now. Not sure why I'd ever want to trade it for another. :dontknow: (I guess it's a little obvious that I'm a bit biased about the one I have.) ;)

But after I've owned it eight years like your 2008 GS, and if I'm still riding, I might get an itch for a new one. Depends on what kind of machine they are selling in five more years.

I started with a used but well cared for 2008 GS, added 10k miles to the odometer and traded for a leftover 2015 ST for a better seating position, lighting, windscreen, and smoother ride. Both are great rides, but love the 2015 ST.:clap::clap:

Two plus

Started with a 2010 RS for two years.
Traded for a 2012 RT for another two years.
Tested two 2014's for BRP.
In process of getting a used 2014.

Only two.

In Febuary of 2013 purchased a PW 2013 STL for Kathy as I still had my Harley, and she put on 6,900 miles on it.

In October of 2013 sold the Harley and traded the STL off for the PW 2014 RTL with matching RT 622 trailer that we share driving and riding. We only have 46,000 miles on it, but in 18 months when we both retire - watch out :ohyea:

I'm on my second.

Traded my canam maverick for a 2011 pearl white rt limited in beginning of July this year. I put 6000 on it. Then I traded it for a 2015 F3S. I have now put over 9000km on it.
