• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

How many spyder riders are on here from MN?

Do I count? I am about 20 mile east of Stillwater. One of those border jumpers. I just baught a 08 about a month ago. I just got to take it out on my maiden voyage. Pretty gutsey to buy one and have never road one before. I read alot about Spyders before I spent the money. Final result is ,"I LOVE IT!! It is definately a toy. Fun as Hell!! Hope that someone in the area arranges some sort of get together ride this summer!!:2thumbs:

as long as you want to ride, and bring some cheese...

Seth;
I will be picking up my 2011 RT from Ray's around the end of April, maybe a run up Hwy 1 to Ely and back to Swen & Olie's in Grand Marais.

hwy 1 is awesome, wish the spyder was faster for the big sweepers on the east end of it. I have video of me and a harvey danielson on the west side of it, effe east.

We picked a used 09 up for the wife late last fall. She is in Staples Minn. where the dirt driveway is all mud now. Soon to be snow again then mud again. I ride a 98 honda valkyrie. We went on a ride summer before last out of 10-Hi in Motley. Seth we met a fellow on on yellow spyder that was paralyzed there. I think he was from around the Detroit Lakes area. I don't know what dirt town stands for. Did you have a yellow spyder or was that you. This guy had a gal. with him that rides a white harley. Right now i am working in the cities and living in Eagan soon to retire i hope. :ohyea: So if there is a meet and greet we are all over the state

that was not me, there is a guy in park rapids with a red spyder who is also in a wheelchair which is weird to all be in the same area.

Dirt town is Bemidji mn, 120ish miles north of staples. Mine looks like my pic here, silver death machine esk.

Seth,
Great video, soon everything will be green again.

thanks that is my old go cam, terrible compared to the new HD one I have but worked for that I needed then.

People keep saying that it will be green again, I just want better than 11 degrees when I ride home from work. Its sunny and 19 out, WTF

I should do a cookout up here this spring for MN riders, IF brp gives me the RSS to test I will do it up.

Seth,
Let me know when, the wife and I will be there, she makes a mean potato salad.

deal, If I am not saving the world at night I would shoot over, a jay cook state hwy run is in order of course. come on over to dirt town (bemidji) if ya want, I throw together a pretty good run of grilled dead meat and stuff, haven't lost a taste tester this year.

Can you do "performance test" with the RSS? :2thumbs:

Testing, my friend, always testing.

Seth,
Jay Cook is 7 miles away, any time after April you need a Jay Cook fix let me know.

just put a small ride together over here, a fj1200 with brakes we fixed, a triumph thunderbird and me in 38 degrees, just a small 45 mile run. still heaves and dirt that holds the two wheelers back. The new motor rebuild has the death machine in the best shape ever.

and I will be over this summer, pm me you # and stuff.

Lino Lakes

I live in Lino Lakes, MN, and also have a cabin north of Pillager, MN. I ride a lot around Brainerd, Nisswa and the lakes area.

Bought my 2012 RT and have 2000 miles on it. I live in south Minneapolis. Ocassionally I see a lava bronze limitedparked by the post office on 34th, but have not seen any others.

I see I'm a late poster, but, we live in Rockford, a little further than Greenfield,(we're neighbors). We bought ours in summer 2012 and love it. We ride a 2012 RTS SE5 in Magnesium with a RT622 behind. Looking to do some rides next year with other :spyder:'s. I'll keep in touch on the boards. ttfn

I just got my 2012 rts-se in October. I'm near Coldspring.
Welcome! Keep checking the Minnesota forum or the group on the community tab for schedules of upcoming rides. We tend to get about 12-16 spyders for our monthly rides. Looking forward meeting up with you some time.
