• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

How many of us are still riding two wheel motorcyles?

Knew it was you.

I normally read the post before I see the poster name. But I knew it was my cousin in Texas. Who else would have such a collection?
Hey Cuz, I hear there's still room in the garage for a......?

Road King; V-Strom 1000DL; FXR4; Husky 350; Honda brake-less 250 vintage flat tracker; TR6R Triumph; LOVE EM ALL!!!! Spyder too!

I still have and ride my 2008 Victory Vision (see avatar). Bought the RT because the wife "would feel safer on 3 wheels", so it's the 2-up ride. Solo, I'm on the vision.

I still have my two wheeler. It is a 2009 Suzuki 650 VStrom with 28,000 miles on it. the Dr. from Germany installed over $9,000 in upgrades. He bought every single Touratech piece that they sold. It is running great yet at these low miles it should be!

Same here

Had a wing before the spyder and now have a wing after the spyder. The spyder is a fine machine but I just couldn't get two wheels out of my head. Who knows, I may try three wheels again before they throw dirt in my face.

I was on two wheels before the Spyder. Traded my 2 wheel in on our first Spyder (2012 RTL)....took me about 2+ years to realize I miss the 2 wheel riding!! :yikes::yikes: So...got the wing. We plan on keeping both bikes for many years...both are great bikes!

Two Wheels

I still have my 2008 Kawasaki Concours 1400 for riding solo. I love that bike. So refined in so many ways. However, as I get older and my legs keep getting shorter, that beast is just getting to be a little too much. And no, I won't put lowering links on it. Might go to the "dark side" and get a midsized cruiser for my two-wheeled fix.

The RT-S is perfect for when Mama wants to go, and that's getting to be pretty much all the time.

I still have my 49cc scooter that has been modded to go 65mph and torqed up to maintain speeds going up large hills. I am one of the few still working in this forum and this is my daily commute and when I have to go downtown Denver to meetings or to the Rookies games I just park on the sidewalk in front and walk in. Cant beat it.

Still have my Harley

Just finished a 3170 miles trip over 11 days, including the entire Blue Ridge Parkway, on my extremely comfortable 2012 Harley Heritage Softail Classic. Still need windshield, highway pegs, and seat upgrades to attempt that on my Spyder F3-T.

Still riding the 2003 Triumph Bonneville, a bike I like because it's just a motorcycle. It's not a cruiser, not a sports bike, not an ADV bike, it's just a plain standard.

And I've recently bought a 1970 BSA Starfire, 250cc.

Just curious as to how many of us are still riding two wheel motorcycles now that they own Spyders? And if so, what are you still riding?

Here are our two for what it's worth. A 2015 Suzuki TU250X, light nimble and great fun over short distances, and a 1993 BMW K75S, a little heavy but a dream to ride, is as smooth as silk (relatively speaking) and it only has 53,000 miles on the clock. Our "prime movers" are my better half's 2012 RT Limited and my 2015 RT-S.
