• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. Do you have on your Spyder? Just wondering....

We've had our 2018 RT for a little over a month and have a little over 300 miles on it... But it's bee raining ALOT the last month.

I will be happy to share my information. My 2011 has a little over 30K miles and the 2014 has 32K miles.

We are parked for the winter between Nov and March. We have a good six months of riding here--sometimes a little more.

Of five spyders owned--I have chalked up a total of 145K miles. Most was on the 2010, 36,500 miles.

This subject has come up before--but it has been awhile since someone asked. It will be good to see some of the newer members posting about their experiences--as well as a catch up with those who have posted before.

And: :welcome:

Here in MN I only average about 8,000 a year, with the Spyder in storage Oct - Mar. Congrats on your new ride and may the sun shine for you soon.

Our 2014 RTL had just under 84,000 miles when we traded it in on the 2018 F3L at the end of Oct.
The 2018 F3L has less then 200 miles as it was only driven twice since we got it
The 2015 F3S was picked up this last spring, but I only managed to put on 13,000.
Neither one has been ridden since the end of Oct.

In May, I will have owned my Spyder for 2 years. In that time I have put a little over 24,000 miles on. So, a little over 1K per month average.

I had a few errands to run today, I took the Harley, first time its been rode in a while. I was looking at the Spyder, then felt bad for the bike... :)

Had 20,000 on my 15 RTS when I sold it. I have 2,700 on my 18 F3L since i bought it in July. It's asleep for the winter. I average 6-8 k per season.

but do you all remember/know that SpyderAnn is the laser alignment lady and rides to many, many rallies throughout the country?? Her Syyder is definitely used for business purposes.. I couldn't imagine anyone else racking up more miles than she does..

I usually get in 16,000 plus miles every year since returning to riding in 2002. Put 16,288 on the 2017 RTS I got in January 2018. Love the ride :doorag:

My first Spyder, 2013 RT had 48,000 on it when I traded it in for my 2014 RTL and it has only 38,000 miles on is as I have been tied up on two big jobs the last 2 years. My wife had 42,000 on her 2013 RTL when she traded it for her 2016 RTL and it now has 28,000 miles on it . I retire this month and we will now get to do some serous riding starting this spring.

My 2013 ST SM5 has 14,800 miles on it. I purchased it one year ago and it had 7000 miles on it. I have put nearly 8,000 miles this year.

My 2016 F3T now has 33,700 miles and still climbing, and my wife's 2014 RTS had 34,000 on it when she sold it
a few months ago.

Hi. Picked up my First Spyder. 2018 RT LTD on November 14, 2018. Had to joy of riding home in the rain and cold from Greeneville TN to Knoxville. I am a >750K mile 2 wheeler. Through yesterday, Have logged over 1,100 miles. Keeping my 2014 Honda CTX 700 DCT with 48,600 miles: as it is a motorcycle. Anticipate Logging greater than this, plus continue to log more on the motorcycle once I break myself in to driving a spyder.

24k on my 2015 RTS. Only put 35 miles on it in December because of the rain and snow, lowest month ever .

Just turned 46000 mi on my 15 RT purchased Dec. 2015. My wifes 16 F3T turned 40000. Probably a couple months before they get out much again but we can still planLilRedTowMater.jpg
