• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Ok so i hit 600 miles and the dealer cant get me in until wed.... How many miles over can i go before the nanny kicks in? i have about a 60 mile drive to the dealer for service.. I really want to ride some till then too...

Back in 2008 when I got mine, I was up to 850 miles before my first check and nothing at all happened - no alerts, nothing. My dealer had actually advised me it was quite okay to go over with no problems.

My dealer said up to 1000 miles helps with break in. That's what I did and 4500 miles zero problems. Been using starton and 93 octane smooth spyder tentioner power commander v getting 31.5 now.

That's really a question you should be asking your dealer. When Nancy was in that boat, our dealer was OK with 1,000.

My dealer said between 600 and 1000 miles. I went in with 780. No problems.

I think the Nanny only kicks in for important stuff like burnt out tailight and stuff. Seriously I don't think the nanny is programmed to shut you down, however BRP and your dealer is the only ones who can answer how many miles over they will tolerate.

The Nanny doesn't ''kick'' in at any specific mileage.
Its not mileage related.

I usually go 1000 on all my new bikes--barring mechanical issues. My dealers have always been okay with that.
