• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Ever wonder how many keyboards Bob Denham wears out in a year of posting on the forum?

I will start this off with two a year as my SWAG.....
 
You've heard of that infinite number of monkeys typing on an infinte number of keyboards forever?

thats what Bob has become. He has totally worn off his finger prints..:roflblack: It's those projection keyboards on stainless steel tables..:roflblack:
 
Maybe Bob D. should consider that "Dragon" software that we hear about in those painfull 10 minute commercials. :dontknow:

A program that lets you talk into a mic and prints exactly what you say. Makes punctuation, BOLD, underlines, on command. Cost about $90.00 or so. Don't have the 1-800 number, but bet you can find it on the i-net with a quick search.

I do not know of anyone who has purchased or used the program--so the jury is out as to how well it works.
 
Dragon Software

It is called Dragon and it actually works if you have a voice that does not change during the day. You have to train it some but that's easy.

I have used it periodically over the years it did what I needed. My problem is I have Parkinson's I have a mild slowly developing case of it. I got two of the aggrevating side effects uncontrolled drooling because my mind forgets to sallow at times and I have Parkinson's voice. I can start to talk and it will come out normal, a whisper OT just low volume. I never know which level. Makes me nuts when I am on the radio too! Orr than that I am a normal rider....:coffee:
