How long will the drive belt last?

Just inspect it every so often. Pretty much the life of the vehicle if you garage it, the tension is set correctly, and it doesn't suck up a rock along the way.

Actually, even the tension isn't all that critical for the belt. It can take a lot more than the wheel and front sprocket shaft bearings can.

Belts on other belt final drive bikes I have owned would last between 50,000 and 100,000 miles normally. A few have gone well over 100,000. That was beginning with the first belt drive OEM Harleys from the factory. 1993 was the first year for OEM final belt drive Harley XL models. Also take into consideration that belt drive technology has changed a lot since the first ones were released. There have been many improvements.

I had to replace mine on my 2011 at 55,000 miles due to a majority of the gogs cracked.
