• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

How long to get email reply from BRP?

Emailed them last saturday, a week ago, and got automated reply that they got it. Waiting to hear whether they will help me out on my oil panel that blew off while on recent road trip. Not holding my breath, but would like to know before i commit $200 for new one.

Have you asked your dealer about this? The dealer should file a warranty claim with BRP. The Service Manager at my dealer filed a warranty claim and BRP replaced my panel with no questions.

I asked the svc guy and he said contact BRP myself, that maybe they'd do something. Will try them again this coming week.

In my opinion, warranty claims are the dealer's responsibility, at least the initial filing. If the dealer doesn't believe BRP will honor the warranty, you might let them know that they have warrantied at least one oil side panel. But I don't think it should be your responsibility to contact BRP. That said, I don't do business with the closest Ford dealer to me because they refuse to file warranty claims and will not process factory recalls. Fortunately, there is another Ford dealer not much further away and they get my business. Sometimes, there's not much you can do except use another dealer and that may not be practical if they are a long way off.

Ouch! Dealer should take care of getting that. Not sure I want to buy one from yours. Make sure your Ant. is tight also. Lost mine in FL. and when I got home dealer got me new one at no charge.
I don't like hearing about panels coming off, Is there a fix for this so we can prevent it?
