• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

How long have you owned your Spyder and mileage??????

Bought my 2011 RS SE5 May28,2011, Have 2800 miles on her, took her to Maggie Valley and after that I only get a few miles on her for breakfast rides here in FL its too hot. waiting for it to cool down
 
2009 RS SE5, purchased 9/18/10; I didn't even have a MC learner's permit at the time, lol! If it were not for the job and a lot of issues with my back, I would have put a lot more miles on him, but right now, Clyde's mileage is around 7k.
 
2008--GS--SM5: June of 2008 through May 2010. Traded in for RTS. 22,500 miles--still running strong with new ownership.

2009--RS--SE5: May of 2009 through present. Still owned by ex--20,000 miles.

2010 RTS--May 2010 through present. 18,500 miles and still going strong.
 
2011 RTS-SE5. Picked it up May 6, 2011 - 2500 miles. Would have twice that except for the 40 day streak of over 100 degree weather. Figures, I've lived here 20 years and the year I get my Spyder is the hottest of all of them. We just broke the all time record for hight average nighttime temps. ever and it's only August. July's average daytime temp. was also a record. I hope September is better for all of us!
 
Just bought my 2010 RS on Friday - rode it the 5+ hrs home - and yesterday - and today.....
Mileage 400
The smile hasn't left my face yet. :D
 
I brought my 2009 RS SM5 home exactly one year ago. I now have 2,400 fun filled trouble free miles. My dealer won't even remember me because I never went back.:doorag:

Mileage on Spyder? 5515 as of when it went into the shop August 30 2011 and it is still there. :gaah:

WE bought the spyder May 14 2011.

2011 LTD Edition delivered on Aug 17, 2011 and ashamed to say just 300 miles! Breaking it in nice
and slow.
 
Serial # 38. $1,000 deposit paid April, 2007. At that time, only 11 states were approved to sell the Spyder. Purchased mine in Virginia. Delivery Dec. 9th, 2007!

Now, here's the rub: less than 14,000 miles .... :yikes:

Purchased my 2008 Suzuki B-King three months before the Spyder and I now have over 25,000 miles on it! I'm just too much of a two-wheeler which will ultimately lead to my sale of the Spyder.
