• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

How Long did BRP take to contact you after your Spyder purchase, if at all??

In the past when I have purchased a new vehicle, I have always been contacted by the manufacturer in either an email or by snail mail. They welcome me to the new family and thank me for buying their product plus suppling contact info in case I need it. Sometimes a bit of swag is included. Not this time.

Almost 4 months after my purchase I finally got something from BRP in email. It was a survey about my purchase experience and why I decided on a Spyder. I was looking forward to completing this survey because I wanted to share my negative dealership experience with them.

Sadly, I wasn't able to share this because the survey never asked about it and didn't supply an area where I could tell them about it.

Oh well. It would have just been me venting as I know it wouldn't have made any difference.

Anyways, how long after your purchase did you hear from BRP, if at all?

Just got one from BRP last week. Bought 2024 S2S in March 2024. Asked about experience with dealer only. I had a great experience with dealer, BUT the screen and ACP issues completely soured me on BRP. Screen has finally been fixed and I have an appointment to update the ACP as it seems the latest firmware works but we dont use Iphones so that will wait.

A true sign of the times. Send out survey's, but, make sure that they do not provide any room for negative feedback. They want to hear only the good, not the bad or the ugly Sorry Clint.

Purchased my RT limited August 2023 and have had no contact with BRP.

2023 RT limited red
former ride 2020 F3 limited

I bought a 2023 F3 LTD Special Series at the end of May last year.

Also, had no contact from BRP. either.

Purchased new 2023 from iMotorsports paperwork completed 7-11-2024, received a dealer feedback from BRP on 8-7-24. Still waiting on bike to arrive from Chicago. Supposed to arrive this Thursday or Friday 8-15/16. Will do the feedback once it arrives.

I know you guys show your dates all arse-about & odd over there, and there's maybe a bit more confusion than usual brought about by the 3 different date formats used; but from my reading of the post above,

it looks like you're still waiting for your Spyder to be delivered after a bit over A YEAR!!

Please tell me, is that right, or am I just a bit confused?? :dontknow:

Maybe one card is all you need. ....:roflblack:...:roflblack:

Have a Blessed Day. ....

I certainly hope that Dakotaz has his dates messed up! If not, he may want to run a trace on the tracking number and see what's going on.

Wait, some of you got contacted? :yikes:

Seriously, BRP only contacted me for the mirror recall. The dealer has reached out several times to say "Hey" and to ask how they did as well as advertise their services with the enticements of some free swag if i go in for parts or service - but the joke is on them, I already got the swag (a T-shirt) when I bought the F3S.

Sorry Peter, tired last night. 2024 but it seems like it has been a year. I did purchase a 2023, so I'm guessing I had 2023 on my mind...

Fixed the date. I did buy a 2023 in 2024. I must have had 2023 on my mind when posting the purchase date.

Took possession of my 2023 Ryker on April 24, 2023. Received an email from Can-Am/BRP welcoming me to the family and requesting I fill out a survey on May 10, 2023.

I feel special. :D

I bought a 2024 from iMotorsports on Dec 3, 2024 (got the deal done in the very last hour of a Can-Am promotion period!) The bike was delivered the evening of Dec 17, and I got my official "Congratulations" and welcome email from BRP on Jan 9, 2025.

So I guess I'm one of the special ones. :p

They didn't, until I lodged a complaint with our consumer protection agency. They had promised a few things with the BRP offer at the time, and thought they didn't have to honour it. I was quite surprised, having just paid cash for their (at the time) flagship product.

2020 RTL, nothing from BRP, not surprised nor offended. Definitely not into surveys, they are time wasted and meaningless.

Well, as far as me and the wife can remember, I've bought 3 Spyders, and I haven't received anything from BRP saying thanks for buying your Spyders. Like others, nothing from BRP. I havent lost any sleep over it.

Did you buy new or used? If used, why would BRP contact you anyway? They may not even know that you bought their product.

I don't think that most of us in this thread were talking about surveys only, I know that I wasn't. I was talking about BRP at least acknowledging my purchase of one of their products. Like every single other vehicle manufacturer has on every other vehicle that I have ever purchased in my life.
