• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Some of us have our Spyders and some of us are still waiting. Some of us have had service or recall work done now and by now we should be able to get a handle on how the dealers are doing.

Do you feel like your Dealer is on top of things and has kept you up to date with delivery times and recalls and such or are you getting more good information off of the websites?

Did your Dealer do everything they said they would when you picked up your Spyder. Was it ready when they said it would be and was the OTD price as what they told you before you did the deal.

How's service been. Have they had parts in stock like oil filters and other maintenance items? Are you happy with the work they did?

Woulds you buy from your Dealer again and would you recommend your Dealer to other Spyder Lovers?

I'm asking this because I have mixed feelings about my dealer. I like the folks there but I think their follow up has been poor along with a few other issues. If I knew of a better dealer I would point folks to them but I'm not sure if there are any better dealers or if what I've experienced is common with all dealers. $400 plus parts is what they want for 1 st service. thats $200 more than seminole power sports a little farther south.

i'll be taking the ride to have my work done.

plus they took my jacket order as to size ect then when my bike came they said i ordered too late. then why did i get #1004. if someone backed out then i should have gotten their jacket. by the way i paid cash for the bike.

From what I am seeing on the various Spyder forums, there appears to be a sharp division between excellent Spyder dealers and horrible, price-gouging ones. I haven't seen much middle ground. My dealer is Uxbridge Small Engines, located in Uxbridge, Ont., just north of Toronto, and they are fantastic - very attentive to customer service and needs and responsive to e-mails and phone messages. Genuinely good people.
Best,

Pensacola Motorsports has been good. Communication, Doing what they say they will, making a profit without gouging, a little slow on obtaining parts

Fred Cummings Motorsports in Bakersfield, Ca. is top notch.... they kept me in the loop all the way. I Always knew what they knew and didn't have to go into the shop to find out. My salesman James kept in constant contact with me with the minor information....

The jury is still out If they do what they say they will do Ill take that. So Ill answer this question after it's a done deal.wildwillie :spyder:

So Far Dave Saunders at xtreme Machines in Millstone, NJ has been great. Keeps me informed and new of the product before his dealer was finally approved. I've also dealt with them on my Bike and quad and every one in sales & service has been great.
