• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

How fast have you driven you Spyder and under what conditions?

Ahhh the good 'ol daze. We have our version of the Dragon Tail here in Arizona on 191. To have kept up with sportbikes was divine.

I've been about 115, didn't realize I was going that fast, thought going about 85-90. Have to be more careful now in GA, effective Jan 1, we have a so-called super-speeder law, anything over 75 on 2 lane or 85 on 4+ lanes is considered a super-speeder. Which means if caught you will not only pay the normal fine to whoever caught you, plus a additional $200 to the state.

GPS says 107, seems about right. After I broke it in I drove over 100 every day for 2 weeks just for the heck of it.

95 on Rt. 8 in Northern, CT. The Thrill of Acceleration is Much more Fun to me ( Same thing with Jet Ski,s) than Top Speed. Turning and Burning around 35 MPH country roads is my Ticket!!!:ohyea::shemademe_smilie:

err ah . . . . .

. . . . something above 125 mph. Once was enough. Right after I slowed down, a couple of coyotes ran out in front of me.

It was here.

Son n law

When we brought it home, 15 months ago, son n law drove it, and he had it up to 104, with plenty left. Since then I have been up to 74 (yes seventy four):2thumbs: and it was very stable:shocked::clap:Hope to improve this summer:ohyea:

steady as she go's

Got up too 130 mph thats as fast as the bike would go. On a road in arizona hy 160 to the grandcanyon. That was fun:2thumbs:

A buck and a quarter on I-70 in Western Maryland. Sunny, warm, and dry. Got nervous...kept hoping I didn't have a blowout. Travel 80 routinely in WV...speed limit is 70

OK, I just have to ask.

Why would anyone admit anything like this on the web? The info stays here forever. What if... ??????????????

.

85 mph / Pa. I-95, daytime, while passing another vehicle.

:2thumbs: Same here, 85 mph, MO-I-44, daytime, passing another vehicle, they were surprised to see a woman passing them

I smell tickets, watch out :roflblack:

:agree: I refuse to answer on the grounds that it may tend to incriminate me.............besides, Nancy might find out and it was on her Spyder.

I don't know exactly how fast, but it was on the track at Mid America Motorplex. After I hit the rev limiter at 91 in third gear, I shifted to fourth and saw it hit 97 but was too busy to look at the speedo after that.

Not saying & you can't make me!

Though I'm not saying an exact number, I will say I'm "right up there with ya" I haven't topped out yet, cuz I keep running out of room/road. I am no speed demon, but with this machine, I can't seem to help myself!! :ohyea:

I too, love to see the expressions of others, whether it's cagers or other riders, when they realize that they were just passed by a "girl!"

Had mine for almost 2 years now, and I am still just as in love with this machine as day one!
