• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

99% of my ryding time is solo, by myself. I rarely ryde in groups. I relish the alone time, the ability to go, stop and get lost whenever I want. I wander a lot. Many of my best rydes and encounters were those unplanned. Priceless!

Solo & lone wolf.

I'm an antisocial old cuss. As jaherbst says, you can do it your own way as required.

I ride solo (wife quit riding 15 years ago) with a great club. Nearly all are old time riders, mostly retired, many retired military. Some of us have been riding together 25 years or more. We ride 12 months a year, putting out a monthly schedule of Saturday rides for breakfast or lunch, with side trips during the week. We ask for an annual donation of $5 and once or twice a year we give a surprise $5 to each rider for their meal.....if you ride often enough you make money....kinda unique I think.

Mostly one-up alone, but my preference is riding one-up with another bike or two. Group riding is not my fave thing in general (unless it's the right group, which is extremely rare in my experience), and I have carried a passenger a time or two, also not my fave thing to do.

IOW, I like the alone time, but it can also be nice to have someone to talk to at stops. Sometimes. ;)
