• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

How do you jump start a 2008 GS SM5?

AZ Spyder

I went to ride today (It will be in the high 80's through Thanksgiving here in Central Arizona). Perfect weather to run out to the lakes and tool through some twistys and enjoy life.
Unfortunately, I've been busy lately and hadn't ridden in over a month and :yikes:my Spyder was dead! I thought, "No problem, I'll go to Cyclegear down the road and pick up a battery charger and have it ready to go later".

When I got back, I grabbed my Operators Guide and went to attach the charger and no kidding, the inside looks nothing like the Operators Guide picture. Does anyone know where the positive lead is to the battery without tearing the rear panel off the bike?:banghead:

HELP!

Sure....

Under the seat you will see a post to the rear right..negative and a post to the left (should have a red rubber cover) that is the positive. Clip on there and you should be charged in no time...depending on your charger...
