• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

How do you clean your spyder?

When I had my motorcycles, I normally used a good spray on detailer unless the bike was really dirty like if I was caught in the rain. Then I would use a mild soap and water. For my cars I always use soap and water and only use detailer for a final cleaning. What do most of you do?

bought a high powered electric blower, gets all the water outta the nooks and crannies.

Put my rain gear on and run it threw the laser wash:roflblack::roflblack:

Use my pressure washer, rinse put on soap mode wash And rinse again.

Dry off then Lucas slick mist. Sure smells good:yikes::yes:

I use hot water with "Blue Coral"( wash/wax) in a concentrate, chamois cloth to dry off my :spyder2:/ car. Their is a lot of suds. Deanna

Pretty much the same for me.

:clap:I use a damp towel and wipe small areas at a time, and a dry cloth or a chamois cloth to dry the bike. Kind of scared to put a lot of water on the bike. Works for me..

I mix a little dish soap (Dawn) in with water in a hand spray bottle spray the bike down with the garden hose. I than spray the soap/water mix onto the surface starting with the windshield and using a wet sponge scrub it down rinsing with the hose as I go. I then use bath towels to dry it. Once or twice a year I will wax it with ICE wax.

I spray it with Simple green and then hose it off, a little extra if i have some oil or tar. Then I wipe it down with soft cloth, gets her squeaky clean, specially the chrome. Don't directly spray license sticker or inspection sticker or any stickers you don't want to come off, it will take those suckers off quick!
