How do mirrors attach on a F3 Limited?

I'm upgrading from a RTS to a 2017 F3 Limited and was wondering how the side view mirrors attach to the bike. I'm familiar with the clips and pins on the RTS but didn't know if the F3 uses the same clips and pins. I currently have the magic mirror magnets installed on my RTS and was wondering if these will work on the F3? if they will I'll be taking them off the RTS before I trade it in. Thanks

Sorry won't work on the F3 . Mirrors don't pop off like the RT .

very different attachment methods between the two
F3 is pretty simple, one bolt from underneath and two bolts to remove the mount
I don't think the magic mirrors will work on your F3

The F3L does have clips and pins but not the same setup as the RT.

Your last picture shows the pins that are on the mirror and look very similar to the pins on the RT. Do you have a picture of the clips that the pins go into?

Never had or saw a need to go that deep into mine.

Does that mean the mirrors don’t need to be removed in order to take the upper panels off

Correct.

Thanks for that picture. Now I can see how the clips and pins match up. Looks like the piece that makes up the clips is one piece. Is that a correct statement?

The open part should be up but yes it looks like 1 piece.
