• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

How do I keep spiders out of my spyder?

Yeah, silly question, but I need to know. There are a couple of vented slots in the dash area of my F3T. If the bike sits for as little as 36 hours, there will be spider webs all over the dash. I suppose that the spider hides in the vented slot, and is ready to pounce on anything that gets in the web. We are not talking about a small couple of webs, they have a full blown Alfred Hitchcock type of web. What can I do to keep them out of, and off of my spyder?
BTW, I stored my RSS, RT, and also my Mustang in this same, climate controled garage and never had this issue. Only other living thing in this garage is my cat. Unfortunately, she doesn't hunt spiders. I even have a little electronic device to keep other pest out of the garage, and have never had a problem with any.

That presents some interesting implications. Apparently spiders are attracted to the F3T but not to the other machines. Is it new? Perhaps, as silly as it may sound, it emits an odor that attracts spiders. Or maybe they like the color. Or maybe they're simply Spyder enthusiasts. Sorry, I couldn't control myself for a moment.

The answer may be as straight forward as buying a cover for the F3T, especially is Raid doesn't work. And even if it does it's effectiveness doesn't last forever which means you'll have to keep spraying - or hope spider communications are such that the survivors will warn off the others. :D

Vinegar or peppermint

White vinegar and water in a spray bottle sprayed around and into the vents or peppermint oil.
